Private yacht cruise, max. 12 people
About this experience
A three-hour yacht cruise where the deck belongs to your group alone. Up to 12 people, departure from the port of Las Galletas, and a route built around dolphin and whale watching. Snacks, fresh sandwiches and unlimited drinks are included.
How the cruise works
You start at Marina Amarilla in the port of Las Galletas, about 15 minutes’ drive from Costa Adeje. The captain welcomes the group and runs through the plan, including the spots where dolphins turn up most often.
The waters off the south coast of Tenerife are one of the few places in Europe where cetaceans live all year round. Dolphins often come alongside and ride the bow wave. The crew talks you through the animals you can meet out here.
Partway through there is a stop for swimming and snorkelling. Snorkelling gear is on board, and anyone feeling bold jumps in from the captain’s bridge on the roof of the yacht. If you would rather stay dry, there are mattresses and space to sunbathe.
On board you get fresh sandwiches and snacks plus unlimited drinks: wine, beer, cava and soft options. There is no buffet for a hundred passengers here, just food for your group.
Who this is for, and who it is not
It suits groups with something to celebrate: a birthday, an anniversary, the last day of a holiday or a company trip. A private yacht makes sense when you want nobody else in your photos and enough room for children to move around.
If there are two of you and you want the cheapest option, a shared cruise is the sensible choice. We also cannot guarantee dolphins, because they are wild animals, although the crew knows their habits and routes.
Practical information
You can drive to the port yourself, there is parking there, and we send the location with your ticket. We can also collect you from an address you give us in the south of the island, around Costa Adeje, Las Americas, Los Cristianos and Costa del Silencio. Your ticket with the exact time and meeting point arrives within 24 hours of booking.
The team monitors the weather, since comfort and safety on the water depend on it. Under 18s sail only with an adult’s consent. Cancellation is free up to 72 hours before the start, with a 100 percent refund.
If you want longer on the water, for instance 7 hours out to the Los Gigantes cliffs, message us and we will quote for it.

FAQ
Up to 12 people can board. The cruise is private, so only your group is on the yacht, with no other tourists. It works well for families, groups of friends and companies who want to celebrate something without strangers alongside.
Dolphins and whales live off the south coast of Tenerife all year round, and the route heads for the places where they appear most often. It cannot be guaranteed, though, because they are wild animals that follow their own paths.
Fresh sandwiches and snacks, plus unlimited drinks: wine, beer, cava and soft drinks. Everything is included in the price of the cruise, so nothing on that list costs extra once you are on board.
The cruise leaves from Marina Amarilla in the port of Las Galletas, about 15 minutes' drive from Costa Adeje. You can drive there yourself, as the marina has parking, or we can collect your group from an address in the south of the island.
