About this experience
You hire a small motorboat by the hour and decide for yourself where to go. No boat licence is needed, just a short briefing at the marina and a minimum age of 18. Up to five people fit on board, which is enough for a family or a group of friends.
What you do on the water
You set off from Puerto Colón, the largest leisure marina in the heart of Costa Adeje. From there the route is yours. You can follow the shoreline, stop over a sandy bottom, or head further out towards open water.
The boat has an anchor and a ladder, so you stop exactly where you want and get into the water to swim or snorkel. There is also a cool box, so drinks and snacks stay cold.
This stretch of coast is an area where dolphins and whales are regularly seen. There is no guarantee, but moving at your own pace gives you far more time to look around than a large boat running to a fixed schedule.
Life jackets, GPS and the rest of the safety equipment are on board. Our team monitors weather conditions throughout the rental.
Who this is for (and who it is not)
It works well for families with children and for couples who would rather have a private boat than a cruise with several dozen other passengers. You set the pace, the swimming stops and how long you stay in one spot.
If you want to head far out to sea, or you are looking for a cruise with a skipper and crew on board, this is not the right option. Here the responsibility for the boat is yours. Whoever steers must be at least 18, and anyone under 18 may come along only with the consent of an adult.
Practical information
You leave from and return to Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife. The hire is counted in hours and fuel is included in the price. The latest return time to the marina is 21:00. If you want the boat for more than 3 hours, write to us or call and we will arrange the details individually.
All the information, the meeting time and the gate number at the marina come with your ticket, within 24 hours of placing your order. Cancellation is free up to 72 hours before the start with a 100% refund.

Dolphins and whales appear regularly along this stretch. Moving at your own pace gives you time to look around.
Back to the marina
You return to Puerto Colón within your booked time, and by 21:00 at the latest.
