Booking about 2 weeks before your flight is usually enough. However, at some times of year places sell out even 3 or 4 weeks ahead. So if you want to be sure of your place, we recommend booking tours and attractions further in advance. Our system does not accept bookings for the next day. Of course, you can cancel your tour up to 72 hours before it starts. We then refund the full amount to the account the payment was made from. In exceptional situations (such as illness, with a doctor’s note) you can also cancel at shorter notice.

Exploring Tenerife by rental car has its pros and cons. The biggest downsides are the lack of parking and the often hard-to-reach, winding roads. On the other hand, a rental car lets you reach less accessible and less touristy places. In our view the best option is a mix, renting a car for part of your stay to see the less touristy areas and joining sightseeing tours where the crowds are biggest. That way you will see the most without the stress.
