Snorkelling, diving, jet ski or kayaking

The water in the south of Tenerife is between 17 and 24 degrees all year round, so you can go into the ocean in any month. Most activities start from Los Cristianos, from Puerto Colón marina in Costa Adeje or from Las Galletas.

Underwater

For snorkelling you go out on a fast RIB and spend about an hour in the water with an instructor. If you want to go deeper, choose diving with a Polish-speaking instructor, a single dive to 12 metres with up to 20 minutes underwater. You do not need a licence and you do not need to be able to swim.

The kayaking trip lasts about 2.5 hours, of which 30 minutes is snorkelling.

On the water

You can rent a jet ski for 1 hour or for 2 hours. You ride in a group of up to four jet skis, two people on each, with instructors watching over you from a boat. The parachute flight behind a speedboat gives you about 15 minutes in the air above the ocean.

The surf lesson takes place in Playa de las Américas, in a group of 2 to 6 people, with the board and wetsuit included. For fishing we head out at 9:00 and 14:00 for 4 hours. You can also drive a licence-free motorboat yourself.

Water parks

We describe the slides and pools on the theme parks page. You will find dolphin cruises in the cruises category.
